Our local newspaper ran an article this past week that claimed men and women select different flowers to plant around their homes and in their gardens. I'm not sure I believe that. For instance, it said men would never plant petunias because they would remind them of their mothers or grandmothers. Men like day lilies and cone flowers. No black-eyed susans for men. So about weighing in here. Give me some opinions and points please.

I personally like pansys, morning glories, iris's, petunias, lillies, ferns, sunflowers, and wildflowers. Wonder what all that says about me??
My comment is mostly about how all these men vs. women things work: they ask a bunch of men and women whether they like A or B, and 55% of the women say A and 45% say B, while with men it's the other way round. Then they write an article/book with some title about Mars and Venus, Yin and Yang, or brain hemispheres, stating that women like A and men like B, demonstrating--again!--that we're so totally different, and that's why we never understand each other. :-)
And I am the one that doesn't like petunias.
