checkers,,, when I was younger, my dad and i would play every night b4 he go off to work on the nite shift,,that was riteual play for about 10 or 12 years. Still play every once in awhile when I just go to his house,, you know without kids,,,
My favorites....Texas Hold 'em, anything with strategy and outhinking your opponent, Scrabble, and I miss RPG's. Not big on games that involve luck (love-hate relationship with poker...skill only gets you so far)
Checkers is one of my favorites -- and right now the kids make me play Chutes and Ladders a lot. Not sure I'd call it my favorite but I'm getting really good at it :-)
