Im so glad to hear he was found...... Safe at that. I drive by the place where Shawn Hornbeck and Ben Owensby were found and thank god that AMBER ALERT is around now. We didn't worry about these types of things when I was growing up. You hardly ever heard of it on the news and these days life is so different!

It's always good to hear that a Amber Alert turns out good.

So wonderful to get wonderful news during a time of such disaster. The flooding in Indonesia -- 2 million people fleeing the waters, the collapse of the bridge in Minneapolis, the ongoing horrors in Iraq. We do our bit to carry peace in our hearts, and hope. This rescue illumines us.

Congrats..good you post amber alerts

Very happy news. Reminds me that most children are safe in my neigborhood of Inwood, NY because of all the secret camera and listening devieces in the area. I syspect that the reason for these devices is because this a major drug dealing area. For instance, just one block from me is a major drug dealor who probable works with local police and the feds undercover. Just a partial listing of where these camers are located is, my street Jefferson Street (In fact, the think tank can see me through many windows and me as I go out my front door((this is only becasue there are probable dealors in my building)), on Mott Ave, on Smith Street, on Madison Avenue, on Windsor Avenue, on Lord Avenue,, on Elizabeth Street, on Daughty Avene, ect. In fact because of new technolgy, most of the five town area and the Rockaways is under constant survalence. In fact I remember the Nassau county police officer who told me without him knowing that he admitted that when I was mugged by the funeral parlor on Lord Avenue that the event was being wachted at least my members of that police force. some of the recieviers might be located at the Fourth Prescent. So if I am wacked or someone I love is hurt ect. I know that at minimum the Federal government would have ordered same...unless the local sadists got really horney. By the way, I forgot.

I intend, might not last or get out, but I'll being doing local reporting for my area and the surrounding towns and cities. On tonights news (Channnel 7) there was there bad news about a reporter captain of a news helicoptor that was killed in Manhatten by accident by a driver. Then I was very sad untill I saw something that the reporter filmed and I changed my mind in just a little way. The run over reportor filmed another news helicopter that went down...it appeared that the downed helicopter was assinated by either an intenal devious or that the pilet of that helicopter suddeenly had something like a stroke or heart attact. Many variouns of same. But it sure appears that the photographer might have known beforehand that the helocopter was going to hit the building. Something else about the way the aircraft broke apart...Not sure what as yet...But something happened that was impossible...Must go to AA meeting now.
