Sammy, Lucas, Bo and Hope are all discussing more of Santo and Colleen and how Grandpa Shawn killed Colleed according to Stefano. Marlena, John and Hopes parents all meet them at the pub. They are preparing to finish the saga of Santo and Colleen.
Stefano opens a letter as the doc walks in. He tells Stefano he does not need to suffer in pain. Tony is watching from a distance at Stefano and preparing something from the look in his face.
Ej is getting drunk down at the docs and begins remembering things of the recent past and what his father has said.
Tony has entered an dis takng hte pain shot when the doc and his henchman walked in so he went back and hid. The doc tells the henchman to get the doc as he has morphine there Stefano. The henchman goes to use the morphine on himself for his foot when Tony comes up behind him and grabs him by surprise. He then takes the syringe of Morphine from him and knocks him out. He tells Stefano to keep on sleeping and gives him the injection. The henchman tells him no as Stefano wakes up and thinks Tony is Andre. Tony tells him to sit and that Stefano will not have a care in a few minutes. Tony looks for the key that he was told about a long time ago that would end the Brady-Demirez vendetta. He finds the key hanging on a chain. Stefano tells him if he does this, he will destroy him with his own hands. Tony tells him he is not listening to him and takes the key.
Ej has called Lucas to meet him on the pier. Lucas goes to meet him and asks what is up. Ej says he wants him to hear it from him man to man. Ej tells him his life and marriage with Samantha is over so go ahead and rant and rave or whatever it is he does. Lucas tells him that she wished she had burned him while she had a chance and that she wanted to give him a taste of hell with his halloween family. Ej has pulled out a gun and shoots Lucas. He falls down and Ej stands over him and thinks he has killed him. It was all a dream he was wishing happened. He is angry and wants Samantha as his wife. He keeps going on as he is dreaming that Sammy has come and seen Lucas shot. He then comforts Sammy and tells her he wants to help raise the babies. He tells her anything for her and she knows that. In his dream the two of them kiss. He is wallowing in his pitty as Kate walks up. She asks if he is alright and he just tries to avoid her.
The group sits down to get ready to read the Next installment of the Colleen~Santo saga.
Colleen writes to Santo that she was wrong about wearing the dress she did and not the attire she should have been wearing. She was testing herself and praying the Lord to help her resist temptation. The look in his eye and sight of him took her prayers and plans for everything away. Santo is happy to see her and Colleen asks for strenght from God.
Stefano and Tony discuss the key that Tony now has. Stefano grabs the key and hands it to his henchman. He tells him to keep it safe but the words come out all blurry as the morphine is now taking affect. Tony runs for a sword hanging on the wall and insists on having the key. Tony asks what he is going to do but hand him the key. The henchman swallows the key.
Kate asks what Ej that every cent she has is invested in their company and they were suppose to have a meeting with an investor. Ej tells her easy come, easy go and she slaps him and tells him to snap out of it. She tells him his is crazy for acting like this all because he is not the father of Sammy's babies. She tells him to get a serrogate, but most of all, be a man. Those words hit him hard and he grabs her angrily and threatens to throw her in the water.
Santo appologies for interrupting her prayers. She tells him to give her the strength to leave. He tells her the Lord wants her to be happy. She tells him he is married and should not be making advances on other women. He tells her that three days ago, she passed away. This makes Colleen even more sadder. Santo tells Colleen that if he lost her that he could no live. Colleen tells Santo that things do not feel right, but he tries desperately to change her mind on how she feels. Colleen asks the dear Lord for forgiveness. Santo asks if she can live without passion and she tells him she can. Santo asks for one last kiss and she tells him no that it will prove nothing. Santo asks if she believes in fate and that her or the Lord ever expected him to walk in the scene. One last kiss and he would walk away. Colleen knew that once she kissed him again, she would have no choice but to go. Santo asks her what her decision is and she tells him she is staying there with him under the stars and in his arms.
Ej has crossed the line and while swinging Kate back and forth he is yelling at her that he IS A MAN. Kate tells him she is sorry and he lets her go. He tells her that his father and her have no right. She tells him that Mythic means everything to her. She tells him that they can go to prison. Ej tells her that he will be around to pick up the pieces when her son is dead and she asks him what he is planning now.
Tony tells the henchmen he wants the key and will cut it out when Andre enters and gets the other sword off the wall. Andre tells Tony he is the one who is gonna be shishkabob. Tony tells Andre he wants his life back as his own and the two begin to duel. Andre goes to his Tony and ends up hitting the henchman (Burt) in the belly. As he falls, he pleads with Stefano and calls out to him.
Ej tells him he is half drunk and does not know what he is saying and it is al a figure of speech. Kate presses more about what he means about her son being dead. Kate tells him that Sammy would not be with him even if Lucas was dead.
Santo tells Colleen to tell him how she feels. She tells him she will pray for him and his soul and is sorry she is dissapointing him and has felt nothing with the kiss. Santo picks up her sweater and hands it to her and tells her to take what is hers and go. Coleen tells him to toss it and he refuses. Colleen tells him she is not in the mood for his games. She tells him she took the challenge and he is not as irrisitable as he believes and he needs to live up to his word. He tells her nothing he can do is casual and that he takes his vows seriously. She reminds him that while his wife was dying he was there with her. He tells Colleen that he did not know love with her, he just fulfilled his promises and now he is free to do as he pleases. She asks him one last time for her wrap and he hands it to her as she slips and falls into his arms and their eyes meet as electricty is flying.
Andre gets down with Henchman as he is calling for Dr. Ralph and Stefano. Stefano has asked what happened to Tony and asks about the key. He tells Andre that he took it from Tony and gave it to Burt who swallowed it. Andre tells Stefano that it was an accident he stabbed Burt. Tony exits the scene as Andre and Stefano help Burt. Stefano asks Burt where the key is. Ralph comes in and tries to help Burt and tells Stefano it is too late for Burt. Stefano asks him where the key is. Burt tells him he took care of it before telling Stefano where the key is, he dies. Stefano is angry with Andre. Andre tells Stefano that Tony was asking Burt for the key when he came in and Stefano tells him to start searching the room.
Ej is thinking things over still down at the pier and dreaming more. He is dreaming of having Smamy as his own wife. He comes back to reality and wonders why he is waiting to make her happy and insist that he is just waisting time and says Lucas's life ends today and his begins.
Marlena tells Sammy she looks sad. Sammy tells her that she feels sad for Colleen. That things never change whether they are 50 years ago or 500. Some things are gonna be the way they are gonna be. As she is saying this, Hope comes up and asks what things are gonna be what way. Sammy tells her she is talking about Colleen that she had her whole life ahead of her and knew where she was going and then it all fell apart. Marlena says maybe not falling apart, but coming together in a new and surprising way. No matter how much changes or gets better, they are always led by their hearts good or bad. Hope's mom agrees with her especially where Colleen is concerned. She tells everyone to listen to more of the letter.
Santo and Colleen just about kiss again. She tells Santo that this is enough. She needs to get back, but he will not let her go and the passion gets more heated as Santo falls and almost goes over the edge. She helps him up on the cliff adn is so sorry and upset this has happened. Santo does not blame her and tells her he respects her and that she should walk away. She saved his life and he needs to respect his wishes and for her to walk away and never look back.. He keeps urging her to go.
On the Next Days: Stephanie tells her father she is moving out. Sammy tells Lucas she thinks Colleen was done in by her lust for Santo. Stefano and Kate are seen kissing as Kate tells him that this did not feel like the kiss of a dying man. Bo is about to shoot Tony as Tony tries to convince him it is him before Bo puts a bullet in his head.
