Another little bundle of joy for a Little Rock, Arkansas couple. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar welcomed their 17th child into the world on Thursday. A baby girl named Jennifer Danielle. She is the seventh daughter in the family which has gained national attention for being so big.
And believe it or not, less than 30 minutes after giving birth, the couple was already talking about having another baby! Right now there are 7 girls and 10 boys and they were joking about making things more even. The couple believes that children are a blessing from God and are open to receiving as many "gifts" as sent.
All of the children's names start with the letter "J". The ages range from 19 years old to one day old. All are home schooled.
The family has been featured on "The Discovery Channel." The family comes across as incredibly organized with each child responsible for specific tasks to keep the family running smoothly. Among some of the facts listed by "The Discovery Channel":
- A baby has been born in every month with the exception of June
- The Duggars have gone through about 90,000 diapers
- Mom, Michelle has been pregnant for 10.5 years of her life

In a few generations they will have to move to Texas as Arkansas will run out of room for Duggars.
Must be the liberal mindset "have a child, ask for a check"
what would our nation look like if every married couple had 17 kids? I don't really care if the
Duggars are looking for handouts or paying their own way. There are no longer enough resources on our planet for this sort of "God will provide" attitude. It is not sustainable.
I myself have a "quite large" family in my own opinion. I have 4 children.
I can not imagine being pregnant over and over like that and what it must do to a person's body, though.
I think IF a family sets out to have a family of that size, they should be responsible for themselves in some senses. Try growing and making alot of their foods, make sure they are capable of paying for items and care of themselves.
Then again, I think ALL people should think ahead in this manner.
We do not live in the year 1707, with an entire continent in front of us. All the continents are taken, except for Antarctica- and somebody will probably claim that as soon as all the ice melts.
