There's not a bad apple in the Democrat barrel compared with the crowd of cardboard cutouts and Wall Street sycophants in power or seeking it on behalf of the Republican concept of 'capitalism'. However, reversing their gutting of the social contract implemented by Roosevelt's 'Brain Trust' after the debacle of 1929 is going to require competent, hard work. Edwards seems, to me, to have a better grasp of the policies, programs and focus needed to ACCOMPLISH change.
Serious incremental administrative reversal of the laissez faire, robber baron mentality of the Republican money-changer hijacking of our future might be possible with Edwards. The trial lawyer with a successful track record against corporate shenanigans might have a better chance of undoing the mechinations of a class-cutting ivy leaguer with his hack gopher and shotgun wielding bulldog.
Kucinich's idealism, Obama's evangelic inspiration and Hillary's cautious identification with the 'system' have not yet engendered the media marginalization or 'radical right' vituperation against John Edwards. Perhaps we should consider why.
