My apology

I don't know what happened here.  Anyway, I am writing this apology to someone who was hurt that I mentioned his mother who is dead.  I meant no disrespect to his mother.  I meant that I felt his photos were disrespectful to all women.  His mother is a woman.  This caused a big stir and I apologize for that and for anyone who thinks I disrespected his mother.

Carol, Kudos for the apology. We can disagree, thats what this site is about expression, but it does get hurtful at times. I learned something from this spat between you and Jeff. I have been in spats before on this site. This I was able to view from a disance. Thanks for holding up the mirror Jeff and carol. In the end it isn't worth the it.

Carol I appreciate that you are least willing to admit that his mother should not have been brought into this. Personal attacks should never be used, even, or especially as grounds for religious convictions. I have always respected your beliefs and how strongly you stand by them. Don't let the negatives outweight your sight on God. You have a good heart and are a good person, listen to that. May God grant you peace and happiness. Thank you

I see the article and you do get a hug from me Carol. I know you didn't mean to hurt anyone. You were just expressing an opinion. It's so hard here to sometimes not hurt someone, or on the other side, to not feel hurt when reading a comment.
It's much more difficult to understand the other persons' motives when you read their words instead of hearing them.

I think its great that you have stepped up and apologized for a comment that you made. No matter where you go in life people are going to have different opinions of things including what some consider "Art" and others consider as "Smut/Porn"
To each their own, and to apologize shows that you aren't as cold hearted as some thought.
