I live in Minneapolis so when I saw this I turned on the radio.

It sounds terrible - like it might have had cars on it. It just snapped off.

I just looked it up.

LOTS of cars just went down (rush hour). Even a school bus. People were seen swimming in the river. It's a big drop! It's a big river and big bridge! It went in an instant.

It looks like what you'd get from an earthquake. This is a super scandal. Even in an earthquake we don't want things like this to happen.

I just got off the phone with my DIL, who says she, my grandbaby and SIL, were on that bridge 10 minutes before its collapse....my heart is STILL pounding!

I had seen the pictures on TV..this is surreal. Lynn, OMG- I can only imagine what you felt. I hope and pray by some miracle that the people on that bridge were somehow spared.

This is one of the worst looking things I've seen. I can't imagine how this could happen, and if the casualties are as low as they are saying now, it is a miracle.

From what I just heard there are 7 known dead. My heart is breaking for those families. I pray that the toll does not rise. It is amazing that so far it has not been higher.
