get my head 'round this, divine, o heart o' mine
same subatomic part'cle exists at the same precise time
at opp'site ends of the universe
this thing -- quantum physics -- what can't we traverse?
Being There
Past, present and future
Being at the same time
Know mysteries unspoken
Tap into the mind of Einstein
Sneak a peek at the woman
Who caused Adam to sin
The only woman that God made
Since history began
Being there with Obama
His hand raised audaciously
Defends our Constitution
For the sake of Liberty
Being front row when Newton
Does his "universe" thing --
And encores with "Daniel" --
Got science rolling
Being there when the Master
Changed water to wine
Being there when Messiah
Shows who's pure and divine
Past, present and future
Being at the same time
Know mysteries unspoken
Tap into the mind of Einstein

Genine, I like what you said -- mix of science religion and patriotism. I wrote this as a commercial poem (bad, bad Nalita!). But if the truth be known, I did. Is that a compromise to the art of pure poetry? Maybe. Maybe not. Nonetheless, I could not help but to add a plug for my fav'rite, Isaac Newton.
Thanks to one and all!
Divine? You are professional writer, or if you aren't you write as one. I shake my head, dumbfoundedly and merely say, thank you.
Lewis, you as well as none too shabby; in fact your writing is nothing less than superb.
I am feeling peachy on this article, in this day of reports of family deaths, sicknesses and diseases of friends you all are rays of sunshine. I am so happy I waited to come here today. Thank you; I needed this!
