Willow Followed Her Dream (POW)

We are allowed one chance in this life to do things that make our time

spent here on hallowed ground worth while. Willow was young

and wanted very much to follow her dream of being a well known lawyer.

She attended a prestigious law school and followed the curriculum laid

out to bring her dreams to fruition. Willow, was a bit low on self esteem

and had a soft low tone to her voice. In a court room while trying to

defend the lowlife defendants, the people depending on her

skill as a defense attorney, she knew she would have to learn to bellow

to be heard. She found a voice coach to train her to allow her to

use the full potential of her much sought after talents. She learned

to bellow but in a mellow way so as not to allow herself to become

known as a lower than average opponent. No one wants to hear

bellowing in a court room that is too loud to be understood. Willow

practiced her voice range pitch, higher and lower until it had reached

the proper mellow range desired. Willow took a job with a small

law firm, really low priced for the defendants, for many who sought

her out. She was ready to try out her talents, and her very first client

was a bit low on cash but Willow assured him it would not disallow him

from having her representation but he had to follow her lead so that

she could present his case in the best way she could, to get him off

with the lowest possible sentence or perhaps if lucky, with just a

low fine. She knew in order to gain a following she could not blow her

first case. She told this fellow she was representing he would have

to allow her to give him some hints on how to look good for his first

court appearance. He must have a good glowabout him, and not look

like a lowlife in court. He was to followher directions and get some

clothes that would look allowable.

Willow herself, was not below dressing for the court room. She did not

want to be shallow, but realized that people would followher around the

court room as she moved and she wanted an outfit that would flow

gracefully with her. Appearance before a jury and her peers was an

important part of presenting her case, at least in Willows mind.

Her low self esteem would be bolstered by not looking below

standards of dress code. So Willow all decked out in her new clothes

and her lowly defendant presented themselves to the court. The judge

noted Willow and the fellow she was representing who was now looking

quite nice, and allowed to himself, well Willow has style. She presented

her case for this lowly fellow and he got off with a low fine.

Moral here,following allowable standards in hallowed halls of court,

is smart.
