"Rose-colored glasses are never made in bifocals because nobody wants to read the fine print in dreams." ~Ann Landers
I find this quote most thought-provoking. How many times have dreamed dreams with no thought of the work or consequence that would go along with them? It is so easy to say "My life would be better if only_______." Fill in the blank. More money? Better relationship? More friends?
The truth is we forget that each thing we must fill in the blank with is absolutely within our grasp. If we are willing to reach out and grab it. So few of us are truly willing to work hard to get out of life what they want.
More money can be easily achieved. In fact, it's probably the easiest thing on the list! A solid relationship can be grasped with hard work, dedication and perseverance. Friends can be easily aquired by simply training yourself to listen, respond and listen some more. Everyone likes someone they can talk about themselves to.
Where do your dreams lie? How can you achieve them? I'm willing to bet with a little hard work and some extreme dedication, any dream in your head can be realized. You just have to be willing.
