The news crew has arrived and is reporting on Roman Brady's stabbing by Andre Demirez. They question Bo about the incident.
Chelsea is on the pier and very upset at herself and is feeling down. Saying she hates her life and men and most of all herself. Jett finds her to explain more about him and Danielle, but she is not listening. He tells her he is not leaving until he sets her straight.
Steve and Kayla are at the pub in anticipation of meeting up with their daughter and her boyfreind. Steve is not to easy about having this dinner with him. Kayla reminds him he is suppose to be on his best behavior. When Kalya asks him to no be so hard on the boy, he tells her he won't have to as he has already had Bo run a background check on Jeremy. Kayla is upset he used her brother like this, but Steve assures her that Bo was more than happy as his younger brother Max seemed a bit tossed around by J.
Lucas has found Sammy and she is alive. Ej is with them and suggests going to the hospital. Lucas tells Sammy that her mom is on the way and tries to find out what Sammy remembers. All she remembers is the briefcase and gas. They inform her of what has all taked place. Ej says there is something wrong with this situation. Why would Stefano leave Samantha in the hotel room when he had the stem cells right there in his reach without taking the stem cells.
Roman is hanging in there, but losing a lot of blood. The rush to the emergency room with him as they are trying to save Roman's life.
Kalya and Steve discuss more on why Steve did the search on Jeremy's background. Steve tells Kayla that if the check comes out clear he will be a little more giving of the guy and not so hard on him. Kayla reminds Steve that they are not in charge of Steph's love life. Steve reminisces about what he has missed seeing with Stephanie growing up and how this is all new to him. He is just trying to keep her safe. Kayla tells him that he would be a great dad to a kid in need. She tells him that his nickname back then "Patch" fit him well as he held his life together with spit and grit. That name does not work anymore for him as there is something more to his life and it is his love for his family. The exchange kisses and how much they love each other.
Jett continues to try and convince Chelsea that he has respect for her and she just does not let him explain. He tells her this was all a set up and that Danielle was in on it.
Sammy questions why Stefano let her go. Ej tells them he thinks it is something else. That he has had a change of heart and he cares a lot about family. He thought the twins were the way to end the vendeta of the Demirez and Brady families. Lucas tells him he is crazy and that Stefano is pure evil and would never have a heart like that. There is a knock on the door and Nick has found them to tell them the news he finally remembered. Ej thanks him for saving Sammy and the twins. He tells them it is about the babies and all eyes in the room are on him.
Jett agrees that he lied to Chelsea. She asks why they did the setup and all and is very upset with him and on the verge of tears. She tells him she thought he was her friend. She tells him there is always a thing with him. He told her that he could not let him get himself involved with her. He tells her that he was looking out for her. Chelsea tells him to be more of a man and less of a jerk.
Steph and Jeremy arrive at the pub and the all greet each other. Jeremy has brought gifts for Kayla. Some perfume and a cd for Steve. J tries to get off an a better start with Stephs parents.
Sammy tells Nick that she needs to know what is going on with her babies. He tells her that it is nothing like that and that he came to tell the truth, but the bomb went off. Ej asks him what truth. He tells them that he messed up as lo and behold Kate walks in the door. She tells them she heard Sammy ran off with Ej. Sammy tells he she is slightly off and she as kidnapped by Stefano and Lucas asks his mom to give Sammy a little sympathy. She asks Nick what he is doing there and Lucas tells her that he is there to talk about the amnio done on the twins and Kate is now looking scared aand tries to convince Nick to not talk.
J tries to woo Stephanies family and telling them thanks for making him feel welcome. Steve asks J about the business and Stefanie shows his parents the gifts he has been giving her. Touch the sky is 20% above business. They discuss more about what Stefanie's job is and her being in Vegas. J tells him that they are trying to make a name for themselves and the sky is the limit. Stefanie asks what Steve thinks and he tells her he sees nothing wrong, but a man's character is a big thing. J confesses he has made errors and when he walks outside the box, Steph reminds him of what he wants to be.
Jett tries even harder to explain things to Chelsea and how is in way deeper than messing around with him. He is sorry she got hurt but he is protecting her. He tells her he is not the man he thinks he is and that he is the undercover ISA agent trying to take him down. Jeremy is a crooked.
Lucas asks him mother what is going on. Kate tells Nick what he has to say he can say it at a later time and stresses that as Sammy is now more interested in what he has to say. Lucas ask him what he had to say.. and Sammy asked her if there was something she knew that no one else knew and they demand Nick to tell them. Nick tells Sammy that her and Lucas's babies are just fine. He tells Ej is not the father but Lucas is the father of both of them and Kate is now very mad and looks like she is going to be taking her revenge on Nick. Nick congratulates Lucas on being the father and he is absolutely sure he is the father. Kate tells Nick that reports can be falsified. He tells them that he screwed up the first one, and Kate tells him that his job is on the line. Nick tells them he was under alot of pressure to get the results done fast and he ordered the results by someone else. Lucas is overjoyed that he is the father. Sammy is putting 2 and 2 together and realizing that Kate put him up to falsifying the original results.
Chelsea asks him if this is the real deal and Jett tells her it is as good as it gets. She asks him if he has just pretended to be her friend and if it was all an act too with the near kiss.
Jeremy tells him the company was not as half as bad as he thought it would be. Steve leaves and goes outside to talk to Bo. Bo tells him Roman took a knife to the gut by Andre. Bo tells him they need to get the whole family to the hospital. He tells him he has the jacket he wanted on Jeremy and tells him it is not pretty. Bo tells him that Steve nailed it and that Jeremy is bad news. Steve starts looking over the papers.
Jett tells him he felt the chemistry and that he had to hide his attraction so he could focus on the job. Danielle appears and tells him that she is working with him.
Sammy says she would bet her life that it was not Nick's idea and they ask him if there was a little blackmail pressured on him. Nick tells them it was his mistake and there was no blackmail going on. Ej asks him if he has any idea how that mistake is gonna affect all of them. Kate tells him he will not lose his job and he tells her he will deal with the fallout. Sammy tells him he does not believe him and wants him to look her in the eye and tell her that Kate or EJ did not have anything to do with the results. He tells her to blame him and did not say they did not blackmail him. Sammy tells Kate she is a real piece of work when Lucas gets a call. Lucas tells Sammy her dad was stabbed by Andre Demirez. Sammy tells Ej to leave and get out and that he means nothing.
Chelsea looks at both their Id's, and Danielle apologizies to her for what they have done and it has torn Jett up inside. Danielle tells them good luck and that Jett is a good man. Jett tells her that she cannot tell anyone about this and she asks what Jeremy has done. Steph asks what Jeremy is into and Jett tells her he does not know and does not have enough evidence to convict him. He tells her that that him and J were in the service together. After that they lost touch and J does not know he is a cop. He saw this file on a smuggling operation and Jeremy's name was all over it and offered to go into Touch the Sky with him. Jett tells her that he does not know who he is working for or who the accomplises are and that is where Chelsea comes in. They think Stephanie might know more than she is letting on.
Jeremy is telling Kayla about how he loves to fly. Jeremy and Steph begin to kiss as Kayla stands up and tells them she is going to go and see what is keeping Steve.
Bo tells Steve that Jeremy is not who he claims to be and is nothing but trouble. Kayla comes out and Bo tells her about Roman and that he is critical. Kayla leaves with Bo and Steve goes in to tell Stephanie. Steve is not happy at the sight of seeing his daughter all kissy face with such a criminal. He sits down with them and tells her about her Uncle Roman. Steve tells Jeremy to tell them about his felony convictions and about the time he spent in jail and shows them the information he has on him. Jeremy looks at them all worried.
Chelsea tells Jett that Stephanie would not know how to cover up for Jeremy. Jett tells her that people do crazy things being in love. Jett tells Chelsea that Max is cool and she tells Jett that her and Max had a bad feeling about Jeremy from the get go. Jett asks her to watch Stephanie and see what she knows. Jett asks for her help to get info from her.
Lucas tells Ej that he needs to leave and get lost. He is not a friend or a part of the family and out of their lives for good. Ej is very upset at the whole ordeal.
On the Next Days: Chelsea tells Jett that if she did this, she would just be an informant and would not even get paid for doing his job. She tells that after he nails Jeremy she never wants to see him again. Steve tells Stephanie she needs to throw this jerk out with the rest of the garbage. Nick tells Kate that if he gets what he wants, then their secret stays safe and if she loses, he will expose her. Sammy tells Marlena that the only way she knows to keep herself and the babies safe is to kill Stefano.
