"On July 30 as Michael E. O’Hanlon and Kenneth M. Pollack of the Brookings Institution portrayed themselves as tough critics of the Bush administration who, after a visit to Iraq, now must face the facts: Bush’s “surge†is working."
One slight caveat they left out is that these were not Iraq War opposing reporters, they have been surge and Bush supporters throughout, and their posing as won over converts to the war is not only dishonest, and misleading, it is disgusting journalism, the type more and more prevalent in the new Corporate media paradigm. Take a look and see just how misleading these jokers were, and never trust the NY Times for an opposing view, again. Letters of protest should be submitted and maybe a few sundry hangings, but then, I haven't had my coffee yet. When you can't count on the Times for the liberal view, it signals the unmourned death of the liberal press and media. Please CLICK HEREÂ

After looking at your one post, and a whole bunch of your comments, I don't doubt you find it hard to believe that anything Bush supporters do is spreading false propaganda, considering you are yourself doing it. If there are no Bush supporters left, then you don't exist, as you go around the gather sphere supporting his ideals.
Meanwhile the 'liberals', being also aware of what FOX says, make their comparison and figure that FOX is right (correct), the MSM and NYT can be trusted for liberal views ... NOT ! Maybe in comparison to FOX, but never otherwise. They are all masters of deception and disinformation well mixed in with a lot of Liberal views so the faithful will trust them and the right-wing will hate them and stay further right with FOX.
That is why people in the know write it; "liberal" media , rather than "liberal media", there is a huge difference in meaning.
So, they will keep on giving liberal slants to much to maintain that credibility rating, but on the things that make the most difference and which count the most to their conservative corporate owners, the story line will surely serve their purpose ... you can bet on it.
Thanks, Ron.
Ron,
Wrong assumption. I am not a Bush supporter. I am a Joe Biden (D) supporter. He is the only candidate w/ a sound plan. I also am a supporter in Petraeus. This man is brilliant. The big question is the surge working. Both you and I can only go off what we read in the media since we do not have inside information. . I personally would take the credibility of the New York Times over a blog any day of the week. I really do not believe there are any Bush supporters left. So your conspiracy theory is in question.
Ron,
I would call Gather Bush supporters a vocal minority. When I 1st joined Gather It seemed everyone believed in the 911 conspiracy theory. They turned up in every Gather conversation. Upon reflection, it turned out they are a very vocal but small minority at Gather. They bottle or muzzle their radical opinion at work or in public for fear of ridicule and strike out with jihad full force on the anonymous internet. There zealous behavior magnifies their numbers. I suspect the same may be occurring here.
