What a rush Deathly Hallows has been! I loved the whole Harry Potter series and all the characters, especially the revelation about Severus Snape and his beautful patronus. A love story is often the driving force behind many adventures. Even though that story is not the main plot, it shapes and drives the characters to do what they do.
In keeping with my fairy godmother themed columns, remember what Dumbledore said about Reality: Of course this is happening in your head, but what makes you think it isn't real?" Everything we think is true is a story we tell ourselves in our heads. Harry's anger and resenment against the adults has a lot to do with his not seeing their perspective--and their not sharing their perspective with him. It's the determination of Harry, Ron, Hermione and the rest that make possible their facing of Ulimate Evil. They tell themselves that they can--and that they must--regardless of personal sacrifice and danger.
We do the same thing every day, although it may seem that we are just slogging through our muggle lives. We do create our own magic by the imagery of our minds, just as J. L. Rowling created not only a vision for herself and her son, but for the entire world to share a new vision of magic.

I hope that you will one day be able to say such nice things about Arnie Carver.
Otherwise, this is a nice short aticle.
Kenneth, I'm having troube with the link you posted in your comment.
To Courtney M.: the secret is to work on it 10 minutes a day.
What I meant to say was, "Your cafepress site is awesome! Mine's www.cafepress.com/aeess."
(Shameless enough for you?)
Sorry to be picky, but little things like these are a pet peeve of mine. I'm sure it was just a type-o, but you put JL Rowling as opposed to JK Rowling. And Jo has two daughters, no son.
