Mosquito bites...

I have soo many mosquito bites from camping this weekend that it is not even funny! They are driving me crazy! I use the benadryl itch cream and it works but I have to use it like lotion all over my legs! I used Off and an Avon mosquito repellent but it did not work for me! Thank goodness they did not get my kids this bad!

I heard on some morning tv show that roll-on antiperspirant will stop lnsect bites from itching. Maybe this will help you. At least it will keep your legs from sweating!

I get these new kinda bite bumps where I wonder if they even are skeeters.
They last for days and are on my ankles ('cause I fish with shorts on, they can't resist me), but man, when I scratch 'em, it's like I can;t get enough... lol

One should not go camping. This keeps coming up on Gather and I don't know why.

There are bugs and snakes and maybe even large carnivores.
There is no indoor plumbing.
It's hot. Or cold. Or wet.
The earth could open up and swallow you whole.

Camping is not wise.

That totally sucks. I hardly ever get bitten by masquitos. My hubby on the other hand is a magnet for them. He gets bitten alll over everywhere.

Camping is wise! Camping is for people who is not lazy and whiny about takin some heat! They have bathrooms and showers that are nice! It is hot during the day and cool at night and wet of course from the lake! Carnivores that are large wont mess with you if you dont mess with them! Camping is a fun way to get away from computers and video games and really interact with your family! We had a great time had a weenie roast.. and made smores.. and its very fun camping! I advise everyone to do it!

Tiffany, you did not address the issue about the earth opening up and swallowing you whole. It could happen, ya' know.

Another walking buffet for mosquitoes!! Now I don't feel so bad!! Purell hand sanitizer also works for relieving the itch of bites...
