Why do we say that we don't know what we want? Of course we do, but we forget that we are afraid that we might not know what to do when we get it....recognition for our meaningful work, abundant living, thriving health, strong deep relationships, lots of play time, sharp mental and emotional faculties for enjoying all the above. Ah but the hard part is that we get what we expect, and what we feel, not what we write down or draw or think about.
That's why we are learning to be our own fairy godmothers. We need to stop and ask ourselves how it will be when we get to the ball in our pumpkin carriages with our glass slippers shining.
So how does it feel to have breakfast on the back porch while watching the robins scratch in the violets?
How does it feel to have a clean house while you work at your creative pitch time, knowing that the mundane tasks are accomplished, and that you have a couple hours of solid work time with no interruptions? That your housekeeper will have a nutrituous lunch ready when you get through, and will want to hear about the latest installment.
How does it feel to lie back in a tub of hot water in a tub that is big enough to splash around --alone or not? How about a massage after?
How does it feel to drive a car that fits, that is an experssion of who you are, that is fun to drive and meets all your transportation needs? How does it feel to have a trustworthy mechanic? A driver or handyperson to take care of such things?
How does it feel to win that award, to get the call that the publisher wants your novel, to tell your boss that in only a month you've replaced your W2 income and are giving the company two weeks to replace you with four people?
How does it feel to be at that conference with all your professional buddies brainstorming the next big thing?
How would it feel to give your mentor a million dollars (of the twenty million you have left from the IRS) in real gold coins in front of a bunch of people? The look on your friend's face? Priceless!!!
That's the kind of dreaming I want you to do, and that's what I am working on. Remember that the HOW is the job of the Universe...the WHAT Is your job.
Who wants to wear glass slippers anyway?
So, remember what you want, and FEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLL it.
