Visiting the Zoo on Sunday

This past Sunday my girlfriend took her little boy, David, to the Glady’s Porter Zoo. I was supposed to go with them but I got tied up. The Gladys Porter Zoo, situated in Brownsville Texas, is world-renowned and is known for its successes in breeding endangered species of wildlife. This past weekend they had a kid’s fair along with their normal tours. There was plenty to do; there were games, face painting and several contests. In fact David won a bike in a door prize give away. From what Elena and David told me they had loads of fun and it made wish, I had disregarded my work and instead had chosen to go with. Maybe next time?

I, too, Juan visit my friends in the joint. I've conflicting emotions about zoos. On the one hand, I know why the cage bird sings. On the other hand, zoos have helped (a little) in the preservation of some animal species. Its still the joint.
