Sundays are usually my day off. I always take time for myself and go to yoga. And then, I chat with a good friend after. I usually don't eat anything special for breakfast because it's very uncomfortable to do yoga on a full stomach. Often, I spend the day preparing for the upcoming week - like getting the food ready and all the laundry done. Today, I would like to take a long Sunday drive - they just opened up a new freeway next to my house that goes straight to L.A.

What do you do, Synch?

hubby's store is open 7 days a week, so for us Sundays are usually just the same as any other day... he'll go off to work; I'll stay home and write my essay (it's due Tuesday)

I do what needs to be done
Usually I go to church
no drives
the perfect sunday is when I get to play in my garden and enjoy reading a good book
No special meals anymore

good one...I'd say truly resting requires being away from home where there's always something to do. Family meals, either cooked here at home or w the extended family, is pretty common for us as an enjoyable part of the day.
