We have not seen Poesia come back into heat since her May 2nd breeding to Favorito, so we are joyfully assuming she is pregnant. If we are correct, by this time her fetus is the size of a 6 week old kitten. It has hoofs, it's ears are unfurling, and it's sex is determined. We are already so eagerly anticipating it's birth! I thought you might enjoy an update. :) In one more month the fetus will be gaining about a pound every 10 days! Isn't Mother Nature amazing?

Tonia, you already need an external hard drive to store your photos so you probably need to buy two to be ready for all the photos you will be taking of this youngster!

Buddy is critically ill, but his lab work has shown some improvement in kidney function. We have been providing round the clock iv fluid boluses, but his swelling is pronounced and his comfort level and breathing effort has been affected. We are currently holding the fluids and hoping for the best. Rose, thanks for asking about him and for the prayers.
