Your poem brought to mind my grandbaby, a little boy. While visiting last Fall, he seen me get out of my car, came running, arms outstretched yelling, "Gamma, Gamma, Gamma!" My heart did flip-flops. Course, I scooped him up, hugged him tight and he said, "Awww Gamma, no kisses!" ;))

I remember how my parents always used to hug my little ones when they were irritaing me .I would get angry and my mother or father would come up, swing the kids into their arms and jab an accusing finger in my direction and say,'don't you dare!' How the kids loved it ! Grandparents and grandchildren seem made for each other:)
