Thoughts about aging

What are your thoughts about aging?  I for one enjoy each year that I am on this earth (however i can't believe I'll be 50 in April) and am looking forward to the here after! You?

Hi Diana,I think alot of us try and avoid thinking about getting older.I am like you ,i'm glad this is just a waiting room for the real thing,the life after.Those perfect bodies will be great and no more pain.Its hard to imagine sometimes.Its got to be such a great feeling and no more depression that will sure be great.Thanks for the nice thoughts ,something to look forward to.

Hello Diana. I will be 50 on Monday. When people would whine to me about their age, I would ask them what is better, aging or the alternative. Intend to live as long as I am alive.

Diana, I am sixty-four, have lots of gray hair, passed your milestone long ago, and I think you are very young. The most important aspect of your comments was the acknowledgment that this life is a preparation. Every breath we take, every act we conduct, every show of compassion, and every word we speak is done in preparation. The greatest part of your comments was the acknowledgment of a Maker and Savior. It shows that you are mature enough to understand we have purpose and most of all a future. We are not depressed by what is, but we are elated over what is to come...it is entrenched in faith. Thanks for the reminder.
