Warning venting below..... 

Can you believe that there are actually people that go around flagging stuff that is copyrighted?!  I had to take down two pictures because they were flagged.  I have seen all kinds of copyrighted stuff in icons!!!  I've never flagged anything - it's not like we are making money off them!  If anything we are drawing attention to things people may have forgot about!  Seriously lame!!!!!!!!!  I understand if you are claiming the image as your own but I LEFT ON THEM THAT THEY WERE FROM DISNEY!!!  I was not taking credit OR making money off them.  But NOOOOOOO i can't have them.  BS I TELL YOU!  And the people that go around doing that need to get a hobbie!!

 Am I alone in this?!

I totally agree with you. It would be different if you was making money! I guess they have nothing else better to do... That is sad!

No - you are not alone. Gather should be a place where expression of all kinds is acceptable. I think that they copyright police go a little too far. Certainly, if you cite the article/picture, it should satisfy everyone.
Some people need a better hobby.

Well thanks everyone! I feel better knowing that I am not alone in my "anger". I still think it's really lame that people would actually do that and I am not going to be one of those well if i can't have my stuff then i am reporting everyone i see! Cause that's wrong too! I also like the idea of call them Copyright Trolls. Beware! *giggles*

You shouldn't be making money from or taking credit for other people's work. Period.

I owned a gift/craft store and the Disney Police visited my store and removed every Disney related article that was not theirs. They are not amused by people making money of their work which is copyrighted.
