Before moving into our house here in western WA, I was not aware of catalpa (catawba) trees. We have lived here since 1992, and this tree has grown very slowly, so it must be rather old (guessing). I am not a tree expert, but I thought you all might like to see a nice example of this particular tree when it is in bloom. See, we do have sunny weather here in WA!
