Another update.

My husband and I just went to the GI doctor two days ago.  The doctor told us that his acid production was way way higher than it should be.  So, on the 31st of this month we go to meet with the surgeon to schedual the surgery.  It is going to be a two part surgery.  The first part is pulling the hernia down, so they can then tie the stomach around the esophagus.  He will have to spend at least three days in the hospital and have at least a month recovery at home.  He is really worried about the surgery and so am I.  The other thing that bothers me (on top of the surgery) is the fact that he will have a lot of swelling after words and that he will not be able to eat normally for at least a month.  The other thing is that on top of the surgery is that our financial situation is not good and I just hope that he doesn't stress to much about that.  I wish that I could do something to help him be less nervous about the surgery, but I don't guess that there is.  Just keep him and I in your thoughts.  I will let you know when the surgery is going to be shcedualed, when we meet with the surgeon.
