Billy Ray Cyrus burst onto the music scene in the early 1990's.
When people heard him, they wanted more.
I know I did.
When Achy Breaky Heart hit the airwaves, I was living in Texas.
It all seemed to fit.
The girls went wild, and I was doing theatre at the time.
I wanted to be like him.
Of course, there was only one Billy Ray Cyrus, and no one came close, even to this day.
The biggest thing that held me back was the fact that I could not sing very well.
So I had to face reality that I was a few off-key notes away from being like Billy Ray.
There was still the real thing.
The more he sang, the more I loved him.
I was a big fan of the man whose "heart" touched the world.
I'm still a Billy Ray Cyrus fan, and know just about everything Cyrus.
I would love to win that guitar signed by him, as I would treasure it always.
Keep on singing, cause I'm going to keep listening!
