Time with your kids.

I believe the most important thing we can give our kids is our time. What kind of things do you do with your children. As a teacher, I'm fortunate to be home when they're home including most of the summer. All my children are involved in sports and I've always spent a lot of time playing with them whether it's passing football, baseball or field hockey. We also swim together, shop together and sometimes sit and read. My daughter and I bake together and we like to go to Borders, get some tea or other drink and sit in the cafe and read magazines. I've been lucky enough to coach my kids, my one son in baseball and my daughter in field hockey. What quality time things do you all do with those little angels?

I am a stay at hom mom! I have a 6 1/2 year old and a 3 1/2 year old. We read, play games, color, draw, explore outside, go to the water park, etc. You name it - we do it TOGETHER!

I miss those times. Now that they're adults (all but one) and driving and have jobs...hardly see them.

I wasn't so lucky. Had to work 60 hour weeks sometimes more so my kids usually seen daddy sleeping. I worked so much so my wife could be a stay at home mom. My hours did allow me to be the alarm clock and chauffeur for my children for school. Always a good time for a pep talk,,,,
we'd go to the zoo often when was nice and we went fishing on occasions,,but not as much as I liked,,,,now I'm here almost all day long.....

I work forty hours a week. So the time with my kids is usually really good. We bike ride, read together, play games and once a week each of them get alone time with me even if it's just talking.

I get to stay at home with my kids and My daughter is 7 going in 2nd garde and she loves sports also! And horses! We like to color together and play board games! During school I attend all her activities! Thats her and I really special time! She loves me being with her around her little friends.

My boys and I like to play with thier cars and build different tracks out of the geo trax!

We like to go on walks and swimming together. Although many night I walk with a friend so I can have an hour of me time ;)

We dance together, believe it or not. My 2-year old just LOVES be-bopping to a little music. I've got a big long playlist of appropriate songs on my iPod and I have a speaker built-in to my diaper bag. I've even set it to play when we've been stuck waiting in lines at the store! Suddenly a possibly disastrous situation becomes a great opportunity to make terrific, lasting memories!
