I admit it - I'm a Harry Potter addict. I picked up the book Monday on my way home from work, and finished it Tuesday. Without going into too much detail, I have to say it was a thoroughly enjoyable read, and I'm looking forward to going back and reading the entire series from start to finish.
I'm posting this thread for others who have finished the book and want to discuss it - so for those of you who don't want to know what happens, read no further! I want to hear what people think of the ending, of the series as a whole, and if they're left with any questions at the end.
Will you miss the series? Are you satisfied with how things turn out? Let me know!

Yeah, I'm kind of a Harry Potter nerd too, but this is the first of the books that I didn't read in less than two days. I got it Saturday morning (the day it came out) but it took me a week or so to finish. Something's happening... maybe i'm growing up. (eek!)
(if you're reading this and haven't finished the book yet, stop reading - spoiler alert!)
I liked the book - I think it's good that J.K. Rowling left it perfectly clear that there will not be any more Harry Potter stories. She's best to quit while she's ahead. I really enjoyed the ending - it definitely kept me turning the pages. It's so weird to think of them all grown up, though. I just can't picture it! I'm glad that Ron and Hermione finally got together, though =] It needed to happen.
On another note, I seem to recall reading something somewhere about an entire theme park in the works that will be themed around Harry Potter, have you heard about this?
Yes I have heard rumors of a Harry Potter theme park - it makes sense, doesn't it? A person can only go to Disneyland so many times with their kids before it gets old and unaffordable.
Yeah, I too was impressed with the level of satisfaction and closure that J.K.R. was able to work into this last book. And there were so many references to previous books that it left me with the urge to start the series all over again and read them straight through!
I know I had a couple of questions when I reached the end, but now for the life of me I can't remember what they were... hmmm... I'll come back when I've remembered them...
Cheers,
