As many of you know, I love crafts. Crafts of all kinids just makes my day. What could be better than finding an item somewhere, whether already in your house, or at a thrift store, flea market, or yard sale, and be able to see it as something else? And believe me, I have an apartment full of stuff that I did just that!
While messing around in Yahoo Groups and checking in with the groups that I already belonged too, I decided to take a look for some new groups. I have membership pending for three different groups right now. I don't think they check in too often.
The groups that I do belong too are:
christmasornamentsgalore, where you can get and share ideas for all types of Christmas ornaments.
EasyOrnaments, another one where you can exchange ideas, crafts, etc.
Gifts-In-A-Jar, this group does mre than just gifts-in-a-jar, there is a ton of ideas for Christmas projects for adults and kids.
QuiltersFleaMarket, where you can buy, sell, or trade any quilting items that you no longer want or need.
sew-whats-new, gives great ideas and tips for sewing.
SewandStyle, kind of the same as above.
The memberships that I have that are pending approval are:
soap-recipes, you can share all kinds of soap recipes here.
GiftsInAJar, these where such a big hit at Christmas last year, I want to join for new ideas!
ForeverYourMemoriesNC, scrapbooking. I might have to contact the owner (I know her) and let her know that I am trying to join and she needs to check out her group. LOL I know she is busy and probably has forgotten to check it in a while!
craftingchristmasornaments, gotta love those ideas they have!
buttonlovers, for those of us who love to collect buttons for sewing, whether or not we use them, well, that is another story! LOL
I am a member of a few others, but they have to with Ham Radio, food, and recycling, like the Morganton Freecycle program.
