Sick of President Bush (A Vent)

We don't even have adequate hospital facilities for the wounded coming home. It makes me sick to see so many young men all crippled up for the rest of their life. Bring them home.

It's a heartwrenching situation, all the way around, and we're going to be "paying the price" for this for a long time as families and society try to deal with the aftermath: the soldiers coming home who aren't going to have adequate care for what they've been through, etc, etc, etc ...

Bush and Cheney are the two most evil people we have ever had elected to lead our country. Don't you understand...they wanted 9/11 to happen! Why do you think they let Bin Laden slip away? Ask yourself, have you ever seen any real proof that Bin Laden planned 9/11? Bush does not care about our soldiers or our citizens. He is the member of an elite group of neocons bent of power and wealth control.

America is a free country and one of our great freedoms is the freedom of speech. Too many times I've seen people post similar thoughts about our president and several people jump down the author's throat calling them disrespectful and not a good American. Oh, Please!

The fact is, our President is not qualified to do his job. He's a complete idiot and has repeatedly tried to cover up things about 9/11 and distract us with this war in Iraq. His time was up a long time ago, and I will dance a jig of glee when our new President is elected!

I somewhat agree with Jill, I too will dance a jig of glee when Bush is gone, just as I did with Clinton. Crooks, thieves, whoremongers, liars the whole bunch....whew, I'm glad I got that off my chest. lol!!

We're not helping anyone in Iraq. We are making the situation worse every day we are there. Bush ran on a platform in 2000 in which he accused Gore of being a "nationbuilder." What does that make him?+

Dont even want to get me started on Jr. I have lost a lot of friends that way. My son was in the Navy in 1991 He had a wife and baby. Then they had 6 month deployments on the ship. When they were leaving the mediterian they were met by the Saratoga group, turned around and headed to the Dessert Storm war. Didnt even get to come home. He was on the biggest baddest war ship, the Wisconsin. They had just finished five years of turning it from cannons to necular war heads. or whatever. So instead of seeing his family again he was shooting tommyhawks, down elevator shafts chasing Saddam Hussian. Well why werent they just allowed to blow those guys off the face of .......... This was poppa Bush war. Us meddeling in a civil war that wasnt our place to fight. About the time we get our boys home and get relaxed Jr. starts talking war before he gets elected. Then its history from there. Another civil war we are involved in. I say just go get Ben Laddin taken care of and come home for good;.Let other countries fight their battles. They sure wouldnt give their lives for us. I am sure I have now made some enemies.
I dont agree with what Clinton got caught doing. but got caught is the key word. Everyone seemed to think it was okay for Kennedy to have an affair with Marilyn Monroe. I bet every president has a few skeletons. They are men. nuf said.

I don't think Bush and Chaney is any better than Nixon. They all are a bunch of crooks.

Voting, If we learned anything at all from Bush, it's that voting is a nother lie. We seen first hand that they can control that and get away with it. I think that one would have to be a shyster to run a country. What pisses me off is the disrespect they have for anyone. They seem to believe that they are untouchable.
We will never have a good president again-things get worse.

I remember when Desert Storm started, the Ike was returned too, after having finished their 6 month Med. cruise. They were halfway home to VA and were ordered to turn around and go back. Meanwhile, my sister had given birth 10 days before the start of the Med. cruise and my brother-in-law hadn't seen his son since he was 10 days old.

Know how when things start to go rotten, you cut out that part and the area surrounding it? That's what we need to do with our government NOW. Impeach Cheney first (otherwise, he becomes president if and when Bush is impeached and convicted), then Bush, then Attorney General Gonzalas. This is one big mess that needs to end now.

Put his daughters on the front lines with no aminities and see how long it takes him to know the fear and heartache of having a son,brother,husband. Father over therre. Of course if his girls wereover there they would lprobably be like Martha Stewart, go to camp cupcake and not have to serve their time.

I just wish our soldiers can come home. I'm sick of hearing on the news how many we lost today! I support our troops and want them to be safe.

The more W. screws up, the more the right screams about Clinton. It's pathetic because it's the only defense they have!

All i can say is I didnt vote for him, and 2008 cant get here fast enough.

Bush is the stupidest most unqualified president ever. I cannot stand his speeches accusing people of "not supporting our troops" if they want them back in the country. Why is leaving people in a country that is amidst civil war with barely a chance of fixing the country.

I knew this war was a bad idea, I sense a hidden agenda in it if Cheney (of 1994) thought it a bad idea and then suddenly changed his mind as vice president.

Donald, I have been saying that for years..his daughters s/b in Iraq or Kuwait..if it is good enough for my daughter why isn't it good enough for his..Damn..even Prince Harry was willing to go over.

The GOOD THING would have been to just leave them alone to handle their own problems like they had been doing the best way they knew how and not killing everybody (the innocent men, women and children) involved off -- not to mention our own troops, and destroying a beautiful country that had history untold. Freeing Iraqi people? Is that what he said before destroying the place and killing the people? What a bald-faced lie!

when it comes to iraq, when the persian gulf war ended, saddem had rules he had to follow set up by the UN. He constantly disobeyed these rules. Clinton once did military action on iraq just so he would not look weak. The time to punish iraq was long over due, but it was up to the UN, not USA, but as usual, the UN is weak on such things. After the punishment of iraq by Bush Jr, it was found and showed up on the news that the reason sanctions were not working during the 90's against iraq was because Russia and France were giving iraq money behind our backs. Under the sanctions only food and medicine can be given for goods. Russia and France was two of the biggest opposition against the planed US invasion, now we know it is because they knew we would find out what they been up to. Also, a recent book shows that Saddem lied about what weapons he had to make himself look stronger to his enemies, like Iran. Bush had the right idea about punishing iraq, but gave the wrong reasons and should have had a better plan that using ground troops. Personally, if I was president I would have had Saddem assassinated instead on going to war.
