How long did you wait in line for HP?

I spent almost two hours at Walmart last night into early morning. One of my sons stood in line to get the new Harry Potter book while my other son and I waited on a bench by the checkout. We entertained ourselves by guessing which of the people in line at the checkouts were there to buy the book. We did pretty good with our guesses. Probably over 75%. For the earlier books we preordered from Borders and then went to their big event. Each year they ran out of drinks in their cafe and we waited much longer even though we preordered. I decided to give Walmart a try this year and it was much quicker and less painful. No one was dressed up, but I didn't mind if it meant I could be home by 1:30. Did you stand in line for hours?

There were piles of books at Sam's Club today, and no lines. Want me to get you some?

Me and my girlfriend walked into a local bookstore and were about the twentieth people in line. She had prepaid, so it was easy. They checked her name off the list, gave her a sticker and she just walked up to get a book. There was a line, but it moved really quick because of all the prepays.

Our Walmart is not a super yet. I'm from a small area and we only sold about 60 the two extra hours we were open last night.

I walked in to Target about 4:00 this afternoon and they had a whole display of them right by the check outs. I picked up a few more things I needed and went to an open register with noone in front of me. No waiting for me.
