It has been one month

In due time, things will pick up as you gain more connections in your network and keep publishing. Remember "Gather's Golden Rule": Write/post...read/view...rate...comment. I don't have any groups myself...no time for that. I just completed my first 5 months being active on Gather and have a little over 600 people in my network and have picked up almost 17,000 points. I've also picked up two $20 Borders Books gift cards by having the most "10" ratings of the day (two days) in the recently concluded "10 Points Per Picture" promotion. I have also been featured on Gather's front page numerous times for various articles I've written. The funny thing about all of this; my best friend had to 'force' me to participate on Gather as I've never written before and I started out with him being the on connection I had in my network. Things took off like wildfire and I earned enough points to switch over to the cash option rather than the gift cards after my first 28 days...and that was with only publishing two articles a day; sometimes, just one. Though I'm paricipating less because of summer and the fact I'm moving, things still continue to progress rather nicely.

Happy Anniversary and I am glad that we have connected.

I have found Gather getting better and better for me each month. I make new connections, meet really interesting people, and think of things in a whole new way!

Welcome... I've been here a little over 7 months... I hope you stick around

I hope that you reach your goal to get more books. I have not been on & commenting much lately. I guess that's only because I've been busy taking surveys & working, trying to make a little extra for when the baby comes.
