At first, I took no notice of this book. It was a kid's book and my son had no interest in reading it. By the time it came out in paperback, so much had been said about this "Harry Potter" book, I decided to pick it up and see what all the hubbub was all about. Once I started reading, I could hardly think of anything else but getting through the next chapter. When my son went on a camping trip, I talked him into taking the book with him, in case he got bored riding in the car. I could hardly believe it when he came home and said he'd read the whole book over the weekend.
We both are hooked! We've read through each book and have watched each movie, then, excitedly, began the long wait till the next chapter of the story was to be reveled. Now the end is coming. I am impatiant to finally learn the fate of Harry, his friends and their world, but also, sad that this wonderful adventure is at an end. I've lived a much more exciting childhood, through Harry, than mine ever could have been. I've suffered along with Harry, cheered his triumphs, grieved his losses and more than that, I've learned to look at my world and wonder at the magic that surronds me.
