Today July 17, is: Devil Woman (Princess Of Darkness)(jandrix) birthday, as the custom goes, Rebecca has prepared a little celebration of her life for us to share on her birthday with her. Here is her story.Â
I have been married for 8 ½ years to my husband, Mike, and we have two children. Our daughter will be 15-years-old in October and our son will be 8-years-old at the end of this month. We live about 15 southwest of Cleveland, Ohio. I do work from home and do some virtual assisting on a contract basis. I also design websites, but mostly I am doing the mom thing for awhile until I become stable enough to actually deal with retarded employers. My therapist and I are vigilantly working on this.
I came to Gather last August as a result of being a BzzAgent. Apparently, BzzAgent people are retarded and ruined Gather for the self-appointed elitists. Quite frankly, that makes me giddy. I actually was never a writer and decided last November that I would give poetry a shot. I started to read some of the poetry on Gather and said, “Wow†that is really bad. I can do better than this! And so here we are. I do not write professionally because that would be ridiculous. I’ve never been published. So, I guess unless I commit suicide and get famous somehow that way, it’s probably not going to happen.
I guess I am supposed to tell you my hobbies now! But really, they aren’t very normal. I enjoy watching stupid people being stupid. I enjoy making fun of them. It really never leaves me too bored. After all, there are a TON of stupid people in this world. I am quite addicted to the computer. Anyone who knows me knows if my computer is not working correctly, there will be hell to pay. My latest obsession (hobby!?) is writing poetry - especially poems dark in nature. Gather point whoring is fun, too. I’ve just recently started to become quite interested in photography as well and finally received “permission†from my husband to use his $1,500 digital camera any time that I want. Listening to music is probably my favorite pastime. I can tolerate pretty much everything except for rap or country. My favorite genre in music is heavy alternative/rock and classic rock. I love trip hop, too. I really love exercising, especially walking through the Cleveland Metroparks and listening to music. Without music, I would have blown my head off years ago.
It is rather difficult to only pick two pet peeves. It would probably be easier to tell you WHAT doesn’t irritate the hell out of me, but for the sake of the article, I’ll go with tardiness and poor spelling / grammar. *ick*
As far as social concerns go, I think society as a whole is screwed. My main issue is probably that abortion is legal. I’m against it in every/any situation. I think it is a hideous act and I find it completely appalling. Â
I like to keep to myself for the most part and enjoy spending most of my time at home with my family and my awesome cat, Sabre.
If there is only one thing I want to do before I die is to take belly dancing lessons and then actually perform. I love the outfits a belly dancer wears. I love the way they move. I think it is very sexy and I think I could do a good job at it. Plus, I have the “belly†for it. Â
My one true birthday wish is that people stop being so stupid. It’s really starting to bring me down. I know this is impossible as impossible comes, but it’s worth a shot, I guess. I bet you not one person will actually read all that I wrote and I’ll get the random, generic “Happy Birthday†messages from people I don’t know¦ but that’s cool. :D

Â
Happy birthday Devil Woman. from all your friends at gather, we hope we have made your day a memorial one.
Â
Note to the birthday club members. If you have not yet submitted your birthday dates to me please to so. I need to prepare well enough in advance. Furthemore, when I send you the questions to do your celebration I need to have them back, at least one day prior to your birthday.
