I am due at least 3 cks. from gather. They take about 3 weeks to get. It has been much longer. I have emailed them four times with no answer. I have called long distance and left 3 messages with no return call. I don't know who to talk to about this. I want my checks which are due me. They had sent them before. Can anyone help me know how to get these people to answer me. Thank you

I have no clue. I have a group invite #6 and when I go there of course there is 0. I e-mailed once and nothing got changed. I am coming up on my first 3,000 mark and will find out when I get to 3,200 what the deal is with the gift certificate. Good luck, wish I knew...

I too am waiting but not for checks. IT has been over 3 weeks for $300. worth of gift cards, and no one has answered me either. With calls or emails.

checks?......whoa! you must rack up the pts. to get 3 x $50 checks....good for you!

just an idea, but go to Tom Gerace's page and leave him a comment there...being the CEO, he should address the prob quickly i would think.....good luck!

I would imagaine that they are really busy with all the added points from the photos and the promotion they had before it with the triple points. They may just be running a little behind.

Sometimes the gift cards take several weeks to get here...but, they have always come. I wouldn't worry yet, April. As for the checks-I stick with giftcards, so I don't know how that works.

I like the idea of Tom Gerace. Ask him. it will help settle your nerves. Plus I want to know. I also would like to know if there are any specials going on now?

I do know that when I get gift certificates or money from points on other sites, it can take up to six weeks for delivery.
G-Nikon's idea sounds good to me.

I'm not sure waht to tell you Lora. Has anyone tried the cash option? I hope its not a scam. If it goes on much longer you may want to contact the Better Business Bureau.

No, to whoever asked this. it is not a scam. I have received 3 checks from them already. Just waiting on these, it is at a time when I really need it. Maybe they are just a bit slow this month. I got others, so I should at sometime get these. thanks for all the ideas

Lora, why don't you switch for the PayPal option? The money is always there on time and you can claim it when you need it or want it... Just an idea....

My gift cards are a bit later than normal, but keep in mind. With all of this point promotion just having ended a week ago and only 40 some odd staff members I'd expect our redemptions to be a bit more poky getting to us than normal.

I hope this is all it is and you get your checks soon.

I would still go with contacting Tom Gerace for an Official answer and go from there. You are probably going to get them a little late with the promotion thing, but they need to do something about their answers and stuff. That is ridiculous. As far as just points, I get my cards from My points in under 2 weeks, and they have a much bigger variety there, but it isn't writing, it is just shopping and looking at ads.

I am sorry that you are having such a difficult time getting an answer from Gather on your concern. It is possible that recent promotions have impacted the normal turn around time for checks and gift cards. Also, please verify that your contact email address is correct on your settings page, and that you have email from Gather added to your email address book or 'safe list'. This will ensure that messages from Gather do not end up in your junk mail folder.
