A couple weekends ago, Donna and I drove up to the Coshocton/Frazeysburg, Ohio area to gather blueberries from a u-pick farm.
On our way there we passed an abandoned log cabin. You know I just had to stop and snap some pictures.
It was very small, and the inside was completly trashed. There was a huge gaping hole in the first floor ceiling where the second floor was caving in. Through the hole I could see the roof's rafters. The staicase was in total shambles. One of my feet fell through some of the rotting first floor and I ended up with a scrape. It could have been worse.

what a shame this is such a bad condition
i am sure it could really tell some stories
I couldn't pass the allure of this cabin up. Donna and I both "ooh" and "ahh" over antiquated homes of many stripes. I can't help but hope that the local town, or some investor, will salvage this old place.
I always imagined and was amazed at the thought of someone not only getting there (on purpose without a truck), but the thought of them raising a family and making a living
