(Like the new icon Flit...hope it's the same one I see)
No date tonight. Thought about it, but I'm really gonna try to take it slow with this guy. Turns out I might actually LIKE him, and he might actually LIKE me. Crazy talk, I know... *grin*
Oh, they were soft n chewy chocolate chip, the only kind my family will eat. Would you believe my mother finished them off tonight!? And she's diabetic -- she's not supposed to be doing stuff like that!
Hello Dave!
Oops, I think I left that part out this morning...something about not kissing and telling...
Jodi -- Don't let that photo fool you...the horns are under the hat.
aha.... we knew there was more to the story, Jodi :)
My guy is Kenyan and he climbs mountains. (Big ones.) He's a long-distance runner and coincidentally he and I graduated from the same college two years apart and never knew each other. He's sweet and funny, and has very good manners. Oh, and I don't think I mentioned this morning that he has 8 sisters and 4 brothers... !!!
Picture????
I thought about taking a camera phone pic of the two of us last night, but felt weird about it. It was only the second time I'd gone out with him... Guess I could steal one off his MySpace page or something. That seems wrong somehow. Plus isn't it bad luck or something?
um. Maybe not such a good plan LOL

And I hope to God she doesn't want five grandchildren, because I've already had two and I don't think I can handle three more. I would become a shivering blob of Jell-O with stretch marks...
You should send him an invite to Gather and tell him some people want to meet him hehehehe
Aww, Dave, did we scare you away talking about boys??
He would probably join, too, Janelle. He's really sociable. It took me a while to train my ears to his accent. It's cute, but thick.
so tired :(
Yeah, he might need a little prep before I sic y'all on him. You're a great, enthusiastic bunch -- you'd drown him in love right off the bat!
He'd be running scared -- right behind our good buddy Dave who just high-tailed it outta here! Why do we have that effect on men, I wonder?
Have a great night! Talk to you fabulous ladies tomorrow!
I just came in from a night bike ride.
How was your ride?
have a great night :)
Brian, Sheryl, are we staying or turning in for the night?
How far do you usually ride? Biking is something I'd like to get into now that my knees don't really like jogging anymore.
I like to swim a lot, too. If I could still run, I could be a triathlete. But I don't see it happening with these knees and having already had one back surgery. I'll have to settle for the hiking and biking, I'm afraid.
My knees and ankles have a lot of wear and tear on them, so I bike now. Just start off slow and be patient.
I have a BIG problem with patience. Always have! I just expect a lot out of myself. I'll keep checking in to let you know how I'm doing, though. You can be my coach, Champ!
Take care, and have a great night! Hope you enjoy the movie!
