maybe the computer studies guy will come up with enough courses for me that I'll have the money to go ... doubtful, but there is still a bit o' hope *sigh*
I got your "big and beautiful woman" right here... 6', 200# and proud of every line and stretch mark! How are you, everyone?? Audrey...pass those cinnamon rolls! :)
We asked the Chippendales to come visit, but Greg was the only one to show up. He had to leave to get ready for his afternoon show so a few others offered to join us. Apparently they aren't getting many bookings.
I agree that a good cinnamon roll doesn't need decoration...but how often can you find a truly good cinnamon roll these days? *sigh* I'll bet Audrey's are wonderful, so I'll pass on the icing for now. My best friend works at The Roasterie in KC -- she keeps me stocked with coffee beans. I tease her that she's my dealer...
So Audrey...are you the one that turned me in to the AARP. They keep sending me stuff, and I know I'm not near old enough yet. Hubby thinks it's a riot, since he's always reminding me that I'm older (by 7 mo).
OK, who mentioned motorcycles? Was it you Jax? I am known as Motorcycle Granny. At the races I have the title Grandstand Granny. Really! Would I lie to you guys?
Somehow I got on the Playboy merchandise mailing list, and I now get a quarterly catalog full of rhinestone bunny jewelry, truly tasteless apparel and videos I blush just reading the names of... ?? WTH? How does that happen?
I put it back...I just misspelled something and I know how people around here can get about stuff like that. *grin* My date... You mean you want me to write the article entitled "Why I, A Grown Woman, Was Out Until 3 AM And Loved Every Minute?" Heehee. I don't kiss and tell, Audrey...
Ummm...oh, all right. Irish pub: 3 beers and a Rock Lobster shot. Raoul's Velvet Room: one Sammy A and one water, followed by much dancing. Denny's: breakfast at 2 AM. Took him home...and that is where I draw the line. I slept in my own bed. I'm not totally crazy. It was only our second date.
How long are you supposed to give a prof before you're allowed to walk out of class? Isn't it like 15 min for undergrad, and only 5 for grad? Or is it the other way around?
dunno ...but since we pay for the priviledge of being here, I wouldn't be inclined to leave.... more inclined to demand that he make up the time we miss
Sure, he's just a newlywed...don't they celebrate all the time? ;)
Yup, this one likes to dance. And he actually told me I was a good dancer, too. We had a blast. The band was called Disco Dick and the Mirror Balls, and they played a lot of 70s hits and even some Bon Jovi and other "hair band" covers.
You caught that, didn't ya Audrey!! Very good! Next up is shopping for each other! I get a new suit, and she gets new lamps (in addition to a dozen roses, emeral earrings, and a card every day for the past week!).
What a band name. hehehe I like disco music to dance too though it doesn wear an old lady like me down a bit faster. A couple of yrs. ago when my granddaughter and new hubby had their wedding dance my teenage grandson made the comment that "grandma still has her groove."
What happened to Isabella? She was going to brb... I think Jax must have gone to her movie. Transformers? I'll have to get a review from her to see if it's okay for my 5 & 7yos.
Jimmy big congrats and enjoy your celebration.... hmmmm you need to keep us up to date on your romancing/
Jodi, I used to love dancing to disco (was a dance line girl actually at the time Disco was popular). I don't hear it too much any more but don't go out much either. Classic rock gets me most times now.
Audrey - what would happen to me if I had virtual pancakes and one of those Cinnabons on the same day?
There you are, Iz! :) Thanks, I thought it was sumthin' like that. It was actually romantic. Just what I needed. I was beginning to think I was the one from Mars... *sigh* He's a sweetie, though. And a VERY good dancer. And yes, a good kisser, although I wasn't going to kiss and tell... ;) Thanks for the Cinnabons -- ooooh, rich! Mmmmm!
The Mirror Balls were the two disco girls up on stage with Disco Dick, who bore a startling resemblance to Chris Robinison, ex of Kate Hudson, of Black Crowes fame. I mean coulda been his twin... It was great. There was also a little dude there in a flashy burnout velvet shirt and bellbottom pants doing backflips on the dance floor. He was a riot!
I'm still undecided on what I'm doing this afternoon ....could go home and work and then come back .... or go home and not bother coming back ... or could stay ... go to sheila's ...
Last year - Kate and Chris got divorced? Internet search shows August of last year?? Someone has not been keeping me in the loop. I need to get in my helicopter and fly out there to find out what is going on....
I'm back. A classmate called from NC. We have our 50th class reunion on Aug 4 and he neede info about places to stay. Hardly any of us who moved away from our home town still have family there. Few of us still have parents because we are now the older generation.
hell no on flit having a romantic evening... there's a school function ...wrap up for the special one week course... some band I've never heard of (and would be quite happy to have it remain so) ... and a 'discussion' re: the ideas of the week or something.... won't get home til 10 or so
Oh, yeah, half the band died in a plane crash or something, didn't they? Isn't there only one guy left? Not much slow, but you can make a "fast" dance into a "slow" dance if you work it right... ;) And we didn't really meet up until 9, so no dinner per se, but we went out for breakfast after the clubs. AND there are no good clubs where I am, either! I had to drive 45 minutes over to KS! Sorry no one told you about Kate and Chris, Janelle. She dated Owen Wilson here recently for a while, but they just broke up, too.
Ok Jodi, it sounds like you have your dating life under control so I am going to pick you up and we will go have a chat with Kate Hudson. She is a sweetheart and needs nothing but love and romance with the right guy.
In spite of all the wonderful virtual treats I've been serving, I am getting hungry. I do have some good tuna salad so think I will make a sandwich for lunch . Don't want to eat too big before going to the gym.
No test - ever. Can't stand to take them myself. When I went to Jacksonville I went to a bar that is supposed to be about Skynyrd but it was kind of disappointing. Some of the locals said you need to go when the current band is around and the place really rocks.
I don't mind going to the gym, but try to hit it at low usage times so I don't have to wait on equipment. That is usually the lunch hour or right after.

Got to pour some more coffee.
Audrey...pass those cinnamon rolls! :)
Thanks for coming around with the coffee again, Audrey. I had a long night... *yawn*
My best friend works at The Roasterie in KC -- she keeps me stocked with coffee beans. I tease her that she's my dealer...
40 min. until movie...guess I have to think about leaving...
My date... You mean you want me to write the article entitled "Why I, A Grown Woman, Was Out Until 3 AM And Loved Every Minute?" Heehee. I don't kiss and tell, Audrey...
wasn't planning to go, but I suppose I shall
ended up with 9.5/10 on that 86% paper
This is our 2nd wedding anniversary and we will be leaving soon to continue the celebration.
I hope everyone will have a blessed and happy day. :D
What are your plans for celebrating?

going to write a quiz

Welcome back Flit. Does this mean you will have time to enjoy the afternoon?
Flit - lots of options sounds like. Good for you!
Isabella you are absolutely right. I just like having an excuse to take out my virtual helicopter once in awhile.
Janelle he isn't dead is he?
Flit didn't have a romantic evening cuz she was mad at her hubby,
I think it was all Jodi last night. hehehe
Flit is not fond of the combination of too much beer and ~distracting~

oh dear.... going home after class and staying there is sounding more appealing all the time LOL
That would be a big No.
got limited # of brain cells ... have to ration them
