Poetry Express: Alll aboard!!!!! I love this group and it's my baby. It isn't my first group or my latest but it is the one closest to my heart. I feature a new poet every month. I just love to showcase new talent.
I'll Take It: My anything and everything group
Second time around: I have had trouble getting this one off the ground. It's specific for Grandparents who have taken on the blessing of parenting again, by becoming mom or dad to their Grandchildren.
If I could turn back time. This one is moderated. It is for articles about If You could turn back time and go to any historical era. What would you be doing? what would you have to take from this era? Lot's of members, no submissions ;-(
Walk Of Fame: I have neglected this one, each week a member is featured. I became Ill shortly after starting this group and haven't got back to it.
I would like to add that Gather Editorial is always on the lookout for groups to feature on the homepage. People would be surprised at how easy it is! I own one group Art Ambrosia. Its a group whose purpose is to bring together those who work in all art forms and media. I'm still working on it.
Its not moderated.
Right now my favorite groups are Writing, Serial Fiction and Other Lies, Play on Word, Poetry Play on Words, and Short Story First Line Challenge, oh and two word challenge - all because of the writing challenges they set up. And I forgot the Photo challenge and Extreme Photo challenge - I just love those challenges!
I own three or four - that tells you I don't moderate them very often I still find, when I do check, that people just post their articles no matter what the group is about. My favorite group is comment speedway.

The Way It Begins (just started yesterday after watching a movie that left me shaken, hope I can share things that will help someone else - about spousal abuse)

I'm fairly new and only own one group. It is Fans of Dale Earnhardt, Jr. The last time I checked only eight people have joined. I'm trying to come up with others, but that's all for now.
I have a single group called The Pet Post that puts up articles, short stories, poems, and photo-works of domestic (and now also wild) animals that we consider to be our friends. I do moderate the group as I like that one-on-one interaction. And my all time favorite group is now on leave for a while until its author is feeling better, and that group is The Budi Sagas about a little wiry pup and his ol' human dad.
