When you are dieting, there are a couple of things that all diets agree on, and drinking plenty of water is usually top on the list. Not only drinking enough water, but drinking it before and during a meal. It's supposed to help you feel full. Poppycock! Don't get me wrong, I love a great ice cold glass of water, but if I follow this advice, I tend to get hungrier!? A glass of water just before a meal or any time I have an empty tummy, makes the rumbly in my tumbly worse, and I tend to eat faster or simply snack more often.
Am I the only one out there who experiences this? It has become rather frustrating and I have reduced my water intake. I am drinking a glass of lowfat milk or putting a packet of crystal light in it rather than going it straight up. But I have to wonder if this advice is simply not for everyone!
