My husband's recent obsession is to make Kyleigh sit up by herself. He even bought a Bumbo baby sitter yesterday. He told me he positioned Kyleigh to sit in her crib, and let her fall down backwards or sideways, as an exercise. He was rather excited and told me Kyleigh sat all by herself for 2 seconds today.
I guess this counts as Kyleigh's first sit-up.

But there is actually better deal online. I saw some people selling a Bumbo plus the snap-on play tray for less than $30 (including S&H). The play tray itself is $9.99 retail.
I am going to look some more and see if I can find a better deal on the tray too.
My 18 month old used it so much that we started calling her our little "Bumbo baby." She spent a lot of time hanging out in it and she seemed much happier until she learned to sit on her own. Even after she could sit on her own we used it for quite a while. I cannot wait till my 7 week old can hold her head up! We will have another "Bumbo baby" for sure!
Jenna - I am not sure it's a good value for Destiny, because she seems to be doing very well on her own. I think if you were to buy this, it would become useless for her very quickly. The leg portion is not adjustable.
I just dont want her directly on the floor the whole time or in her exersaucer.
