Harry Potter July Extravaganza!

It seems if people aren't looking forward to the movie, they are looking forward to the book! There are ads for both on TV, radio, magazines, newspapers, billboards, and in-store advertising! How many of us Gatherites are also secret (or not-so-secret) hopeful Wizards in a Muggle world?

How many have seen the movie so far? Are you planning on seeing it this weekend? Have you pre-ordered the book or will you buy the book at a Midnight Madness Muggle Party.... or wait to borrow it from the library?

My daughter has already pre-ordered her book and we'll go to the book party at our local Barnes & Noble! The movie is on our list of things to do this weekend, IF I can get the money togther, and then I'll write a review!

So how many will be seeing the movie and reading the book right away!

I will wait to see the movie and I will see it on IMAX 3D. I have the book on pre-order with Amazon.com.

i will wait to see the movie. i am too impatient for amazon to deliver it sat afternoon, so i'll go to the store at midnight. more reading hours!!! i am taking the neighbor girl to meijers, too, at midnight. her mom wasn't going to take her! i am too excited!

I wish I could preorder but don't have the money yet ... but my husband and I WILL be at the midnight party!!!! Wouldn't miss it for the world. I love the midnight book party, getting to see all the different people and not waiting to get our book until the following day hehe. I'm too impatient!

Just saw the movie...it was truely amazing!!! The special effects were totally awesome!!! They did a GREAT job with it. I can't wait for the book now so I can complete my book collection. Can't wait to see what will happen.....

I saw the movie opening day at noon, I didn't love it, too many things were left out so it became very choppy...but then again that's how I always feel. I preordered the book a long time ago, which I will be picking up at my local Border's Midnight Party. =)

I have the book pre ordered and I'm picking it up @ midnight on the 20 and I also saw the movie and I think it wasn't their best because the took or the quiditch and somw mor too and also changed too many things.
