I just saw this video on YouTube for the first time last time last night. This man, Stan Jones, was running for the U.S. Senate for the state of Montana. He bravely stood before a group of astonished spectators at a campaign debate, and did something most people are unaccustomed to seeing from candidates for public office; he very plainly and candidly spoke the truth about the nature of the hidden government of the United States, and their agenda for one-world Collectivist government.
Note how Conrad Burns (who would go on to win the election) belittles him immediately afterward, to the laughter of the brainwashed audience.

If you consider that being a "wingnut," then your issue is with the Founding Fathers and the principles of the US Constitution.
My only problem with the NRA is they've allowed themselves to morph into more of a partisan Republican party affiliation than a civil liberties group.
Anti-communism is a good thing in my book. And Lyndon LaRouche is a Socialist who disguises himself as a civil libertarian.
Libertarian party is either Anarchist, or POWER MAD.
The problem with the libertarian platform is the leaders of the libertarian party seek leadership power, while simultaneously saying leadership power should be eliminated.
At one time I was so attracted to their rhetoric that I joined and supported their policy. Then, one day, at a Libertarian party meeting, one of the "leaders" said, to my face, and without humor, "I am running this campaign, and you will do what I want, or leave." I left.
The anarchist movement, in the early 20th Century, managed to convince the victims of Tsarist Tyranny that they had a solution to the problem. Communal government, from each according to his ability, to each according to his need. For about 3/4ths of the Century they managed to keep that crippled concept afloat in the Soviet Union. They did it with a KGB, Gulags, children spying on their parents, suppression of religion, suppression of the press, suppression of entrepreneurs. The scars have not yet healed.
The anarchist terrorists also triggered World War I, the war to end all wars. Comparing the rhetoric of the Libertarians and the anarchists I see a refinement of Anarchy. The Phrase, "Good government is no government" sounds grand and wonderful. It certainly sounds a lot better than "Totalitarian Government is the only path to victory."
Mao Tse Dong took control of China in the late 1940's. His strategy was described as "Nod, Shake, Take" When the people asked for rice he nodded his head but did not give them rice. When they came to get rice with their baskets, He shook his head no, and sent them away. When they came armed to take the rice, he instead took their heads.
The process is going more slowly in the USA. When, in the same period the people came to Roosevelt to ask for jobs he created jobs with the WPA and other government programs. Then, when the Germans came to take the rice of the rest of the world, we had a war to stop tyranny, and end aggression. It was the war after the war to end all wars. And the USA had the great economic boom of the late 20th Century, and we became the most prosperous people on earth. We worked hard, and we shared what we produced with each other and we prospered. We sent our powerful corporations out into the world to aid foreigners. We called it first the Marshall plan, to rebuild war torn Europe. Then we called it foreign aid to build and strengthen the third world and made them dependent on us, and became dependent on them. We nodded our head, and gave them work to do, and food to eat. When they came to us and asked for a larger share of the prosperity we shook our heads and said NO...we are keeping what we have and you must make your own. When they came back, with airplanes and struck at us, we said, off with their heads.
That's where we are now. We are taking their heads.
Please note, Russia's people did not surrender their heads, and they are now beginning to prosper. Vietnam's People did not surrender their heads and they are now beginning to prosper. The Chinese refused to lay themselves down on the chopping block and they are beginning to prosper. The USA is the nation with the guillotine. We are taking the heads now.
I am not a member of the Libertarian party, nor any other political party. But I relate more to the Libertarian platform than to any other.
I believe the only legitimare role of government is the role envisioned by the men who wrote the Constitution; to protect life, liberty, and property. Nothing more.
This is not "anarchist." It is just recognizing that the only just government gets its "power" solely from the consent of the governed, and when a government has the power to provide to some, it must also have the power to take from others. If government shall have the power to give us everything we need, it shall also have the power to take from us everything we have. And once that happens, there will always be those who seek to use the power of government as a means to enrich themselves at the expense of others. This is the situation we now find ourselves in the US.
Americans have become nearly oblivious to the spirit embodied in the Constitution. One of the most important principles contained in it is that our rights and liberties are intrinsic to each individual; in other words, our rights are derived from our Creator, not the state. People today seem convinced that their rights are indeed derived from the state, hence the state should have the power to revoke those rights. This is evidenced by the fact that nearly every part of the Bill of Rights has been violated in the last six years, and not many people seem to care.
As Thomas Jefferson once said, once the government endeavors to take one single step beyond the limits drawn around it by the Constitution, they have entered a zone of unchecked power which leads only to tyranny. This is where we find ourselves today, because so many people and politicians view the Constitution as "quaint" or outmoded, and have forsaken it.
