Let's first look at the defination of a couponer:
cou•pon•er
Pronunciation: (kOO'pon-ur, kyOO'-),
—n.
a person who seeks out or saves discount coupons.
Am I a couponer? Yes. You may ask why I acively seek out coupons, the reason is I love to save money. it is not that I am cheap but rather that I am frugal with my money, as it is hard earned, and I don't just toss it away quickly.
We had a set budget when visiting Las Vegas. Being there for 12 nights we wanted to see as many shows, enjoy eating in restaurants & shopping, while saving money.
Many people think this is not possible, but believe me it is. I don't mean you have to eat fast food all week, I don't mean you have to scarfice and eat at the dive either.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY - on e-bay auctions, these coupons ARE FREE at the Las VEGAS HOTELS, monorail, the Miracle Mile had several books, cabs (the cabs have great coupon books), the airport and even walking the strip, also rental car agency's have coupons to give you. And most likely checking in you'll get coupons for the hotel, and signing up for player's cards will get you a hotel fun book that is loaded with coupons.
At a few places we used the coupons again & again, and we were not the only one's doing so!!
When I checked in Bally's gave me coupons. At the total rweards booth at Bally's I got a Bally's fun book.
Many people in Las Vegas use coupons. The casino's want you to use the coupons in the hope you'll also do some gambeling!
Let's look at the coupons I used:

Ellis Island-Steak Special
No coupon needed! The special is a 10-ounce filet-cut steak dinner at Ellis Island, the casino at the Super 8 Motel on Koval near E. Flamingo (Walking distant from the Strip, behind Ballys). It's served with salad, vegetable, potato, garlic bread, and rolls for $4.95, 24 hours a day. But it's not on the menu, just ask your server for the "Steak Special".
Anyone can save in Las Vegas, the key is planning! And I say if you can save money by being frugal, then why not do it? If you are frugal, you will not miss anything, rather you will enjoy more because you are saving so much!
