My story in a NH newspaper is hot!

I had no clue you lived in NH. I'm in Portsmouth. I've been following this story for quite some time and knew there had to be more than the TV reports were airing.

You go George - I saw something about this on YouTube and thought the same thing. This cop was a creep.

George, Thank you for the link and speaking your mind on this situation. Hopefully, it's a warning to steer people with these types of problems to professional counselling before tragic incidents occur now and in the future.

Congratulations, George! I do have a slightly different view of it. I agree that McKay handled this wrong. I also agree that he acted like a bully and is not in the same league as officers Charron and Briggs. However, the fault for the killings belong to both McKay and Liko Kenney. It is most likely that McKay could have diffused the danger if he had called in another officer as Kenney begged him to. However, that does not absolve Kenney for shooting McKay in the back, running over him with his car and then reloading his gun. I think both McKay and Kenney need to be held responsible for their actions - and yes, in my opinion, it did start with a bully cop. Bully cops are a problem, especially in small towns. Fortunately, they represent a small percentage of the whole. Like you, I am not disparaging the police. Most officers are dedicated and serve their communities well.
