People argue about this all the time. Don't sweat the small stuff I say. I prefer to have a roll loose to use. :)

I only put the paper so that it comes over the top.
There is one lady at my work that puts it on from behind but I ALWAYS change it to MY way. LOL

Over the top only baby !!!

I put it on the roll with the paper hanging over the front....but when it comes down to it I could pretty much care less.

Over the front, but not for any particular reason. Just habit, I suppose. I've got a 7, 10 and 14 yr. old in my house, I'm just glad to see some on the roll!

I am an over the top girl. It bothers me if it isn't that way.

Of course, at my house, the roll sits on top of the holder because if it isn't, the cat will unroll it all! Our poor misguided houseguests often try to be helpful and put the roll on and often I don't catch it in time!

I was putting all the rolls w/ the paper coming over the top, but two days ago my son unrolled an entire, almost new roll of paper. The new ones are going on the other way!

I think when I put it on, I usually go over the top
Other people in the house either put it the other way or just set it on top of the empty roll.
Don't think it really matters all that much, but in my mind, if you are going to get thte new roll out, at least continue the thought and place it on the spool! LOL

I prefer over the top, but it's not there long enough for me to really worry about if it's turned the other way. I live with 3 guys, so I usually have to check whether there is a roll in the bathroom at all, and if so, if there is more than one square on the roll.

Everyone here wants it over the top...but I think Michelle P. is on to something. The cats unrolled it overnight in the "cat bathroom." Maybe we need to do it the other way in that bathroom.

I have to admit that sometimes I put it on "the wrong way" just to shake it up a bit.
