Hey, Paul, I ain' t nobody fool. You don't look old enough to be married for 50 years but is that a guess -- NO! Why, because I am not being tagged again. That's my story and I am sticking to it! Congrats on being published, my articles are still not visible (lol oh lol).

I believe #1 is the lie....unless you're using an old photo, you don't look old enough to have been married 50 years.........

1. I recently had my 50th wedding anniversary.

I truly had my 50th wedding annniversary but am sad my wife Judy passed away 4 months before WE could have held a neat celebration for ourselves. For years we had planned to take our family all married (Paul+Karen--Steve+Lisa & Joanna+Dean) along with their children (Sean-Julia-Drew-Mark & Ian) to the hometown village in Italy where my paternal grandparents were married.

2. I own 3 Volvo's.
This is TRUE but now I only need 1.

3. I do tax returns for H&R Block Jan - Apr.
Been working @HRB for 7 years (my wife also) since our retirement from Fed Service.

4. I own a pony.
A VERY BIG LIE but my grandchildren love ponies and pony rides..

5. I love vanilla ice cream with Scotch.
This I learned while living in Italy. Try it. It may sound wierd and yucky but is actually very good. Especially when you drink the "melt down" product after eating most of the ice cream

Thanks to all for participating in this game with no end in sight. I have decided to pick 5 of "my people" who did NOT participate in this action.

Paul, I can't believe you are old enough to have celebrated 50 years, but what a statement for your marriage, and what an accomplishment for you and your wife to have produced such a wonderful family. No one can take that away from you, although I am saddened to hear your wife is no longer with you in body; I know she is in spirit.

Italian -- eh? I should have guessed it! I have a "thang" for Italians. I guess I have a "thang" for men, period, but Italians are a rare breed. I dated one from Brescia who just loved gambling and "Bob Deeelan" (lol), and having fun. What a guy. His name was Alberto.

But read my poem about "For Mark." He was Italian, too. See ya!

Nalita, I saw your post and appreciated it. Sorry to have missed your "vote post" but I yam human..love yams too.

This Italian thing is great. Brescia was pretty close to Padova (Padua) where we lived for those years (12 +).

Guess I will have to change my name to PAOLO. Mybe I'll get a poem for MEEEE..
I'll have to check out MARCO's poem.

ha ha..I just now seen this one. I would of answered 4 as well. Only because you said pony and not horse...Most men would say horse or young horse. But not use the word pony.

Nevertheless, if you haven't ever tried ANY brand of scotch over vanilla or creamy ice cream, be it FRENCH or otherwise, you ain't lived.

I'll have to become less "peasanty" and more classy otherwise. I'm not too old to train.

LIZ, I now know what OBAN is. Seems to be a great brand of scotch malt whiskey.

Much TOO GOOD to use with ice cream, especially if you must make a new purchase just to try it.

Whoops, forgot I changed my icon. This is my Mystery Guy, and he is slightly miffed that no one has guessed who he is, so I thought I would carry him around with me for a while.

Some very impressive comments made recently. Well here comes the TRUFF.

VIOLENTINE--At he time this picture was take was on our 45th anniversay. It is now 5 years later (although my wife departed in Feb to await for me in Heaven, I hope) and I am 72 yrs young. Thanks to our life of pasta and vino. Judy would also have been 72 but she "missed" her 72nd birthday by 5 days!!

WILLIAM-- One of my Volvos is a V40 which is their version of a mini wagon. It is now replaced by the larger version V50.

My good friend VICKI-- You were kind to bring your mystery guy with you and show him the way.

And NO..I have not made a recent purchase of a pony to make this article completely illicit.

CHARLENE- Similar to Charlotte, your visit is a great reason to have friends.

LL- Nope, sure can't. Too old and a little overweight for that young hoss.

K ANNE- Try the ice cream. You will love it. Going back to Italy/Germany in early October.
It is nice to have another person from the HAM on board.

Overall "thank yous" are in order for each of your visits and the time you gave me . I hope you found it enjoyable as well as finding out a little more about me.
