As Matt and I pulled into Onekama over the Fourth of July holiday, we noticed fish popping up everywhere.
Apparently several artists designed and painted them to auction for charity. (Thanks to Carol V. for this information).
They are present at most of the businesses in town.

How many cities can boast a welcome like
this?
And for a city on the shore of Lake Michigan, fish seem rather fitting.
My particular favorite. It turns shades of copper, purple and green depending on what angle you view it from.

Bet those would be cute, Sheryl!
They were all painted and auctioned off for charity.
I am hoping that is what happens here, but there wasn't a whole lot of info about them yet.
