Fairy Ring

The grass was greener on the inside of the circle than the outside.

Maybe there was a surplus of nitrogen being released by the underground fungus?

The mushrooms looked suspiciously like a member of genus Amanita, so nobody touched them, just to be on the safe side.

Look mom, I found a fairy door on the side of this mushroom!

This is a fantastic group of pictures. A family in our town had a huge one a couple of years ago and i wanted to slip down there by moonlight and away to Faerie, but alas, I stayed behind.

I havent seen one since i was a kid and then it was a small one very nice article and photos.These is a lot of mushroom stuff tonight is there some sort of contest or something?
