Sleep Tonight

Looks like Gather will be down for an upgrade tonight. Which is great. Anything to improve our "home" away from home, right? This also means that I'll finally have to go to bed at a normal hour. There will be no excuse of "I was up reading articles until late" or "I was viewing pictures". It's much needed sleep but I have to admit my addiction to Gather. I believe I check Gather more then my emails. YIKES!!

Will you notice that Gather will be down? How will you spend your long night without Gather?

I will definitely notice Gather is down! My poor little heart broke when I signed in and saw the notice of the maintenance downing. *sniffle* I have no idea what I'm going to do with my Saturday evening, but my guess is that now it will involve sleep. What good will that do me, I ask? :)

It will really cut into my Gather activities, since I am on the West Coast. I won't even be thinking about bed at 9 PM. Oh drat! I guess I will have to read a book or something.

Amazing how one event that really has to happen can affect so many of us. So far my list of things to do include email, the dishes and a movie. Not nearly enough to cover 8 hours!

Unfortunately, there seems to be no good time to do these updates. For me, in California, this means it will be down from 9 PM til 5 AM. I'm an insomniac so this is when I would be on Gather. I guess I will have to find something else to do during that time.

I'm certainly quickly transforming into a Gatherholic, and I will feel the effects of tonight's takedown acutely. I didn't make it to the library today as I had hoped, so there's nothing around to read...and nothing would be as good as what I would find here, anyway. :) BTW, Sue, I never told you how much I dig your icon. She's quite a dish. *grin* Did you draw that?

That's true. I never thought of it that way, Sue. Still, it doesn't take away the shakes I'm starting to feel as time winds down...
