Today's virtual gift from South Carolina is a trip to Ripley's Aquarium. I really enjoyed this place. It was mobbed though and very hard to get photos and linger, but I managed to get these. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

This was a big round aquarium as you walked in. It wasn't too full so I tried to get a photo of some fish I've never seen before. It was full of color.
I liked these fish a lot.

In another display tank we saw a shark.

and a Grouper

Back view of an iguana or lizard,

and the front. Yes, it was actually this color.

This lobster thinks it is hiding under these rocks, but I found him.

Some Piranhas

A Stingray
Catfish
and some photos from the walk through tanks.

Saw-fish.

Sea Turtle
So this concludes our trip to the Aquarium. I hope you liked all the pictures.

Osofo - it was very nice, a little crowded, but you can see everything in two hours. We would have hung around a little more but it was packed.
Keep Up The Good Work!
They have those at the Baltimore Aquarium too. They seem to be very social fish and we had one follow us down through the various tiers in the big tank. It was fun to see. Great article.
I used to live roughly two miles from the aquarium and my brother Ted helped to build it while working for Collum Mechanical.
If you're ever in Illinois, you should DEF. visit the Shedd Aquarium, its another amazing one.. I have pics of my visit.. i should make a photo essay like yours!
There was talk about putting one in Toronto, but I think that got scrapped.
Loved your essay and photos!

I'm going to MB in a few weeks.
As a side fact here.. wow.. I didn't know a Piranah was so pretty in color!
Jane and Laura, I know you will have a great time while in MB. I'll have a few more articles posted by then I hope. Don't miss Murrells Inlet.
Lindsay, I hope you publish that essay. Let me know if you do so I don't miss it.
Adair, I'd love to know more about the butterfly place. We are moving there in six months and I'd like to visit it.
Val, I've been to the Baltimore Aquarium also. It is terrific and better than the Ripley's Aquarium.
I’ll spend the day on gather, trying to see it all.
There’s quite a few discussions and lots of pictures too.
I’m looking at the videos adding comments galore for you.
